York, N.Y. (WHAM)- Livingston County Sheriffs deputies said a person is in custody after nearly 9 hours of negotiation involving an incident at Barefoot Trailer Park Friday morning.
Sheriff Thomas Dougherty said the initial call was for a dispute between two neighbors. One neighbor says the other neighbor pointed a gun at him.
The man who called 911 is still inside of the mobile home in which he and his brother live. Deputies say he is not cooperating, but the man accused of pointing the gun has come out of the home to work with deputies.
A SWAT team and negotiators spent hours working with the man who made the initial call to bring him out of his mobile home.
Residents in what deputies referred to as the danger zone were contacted by phone and were evacuated. Most of this happened at the west end of the park.
