Police say Ray Abboud, 45, of Springettsbury Township was struck once in the leg by a bullet near the area of 25 N. Franklin Street. The shooting happened around 1:43 p.m.
At this point in the investigation, police say, it does not appear that Abboud was the intended target.
York County 911 received a call about multiple shots fired in the first block of North Franklin Street, according to a York County 911 dispatcher. Police responded with EMS assistance and were investigating.

According to York police, Abboud was taken to the York Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries after he was shot in the leg.
