Kate recycles SIX-YEAR-OLD Jenny Packham dress for Tusk awards

It's a special night for Prince William, who became Royal Patron of Tusk in December 2005. The Duke, 36, has actively supported the charity's work both privately and publicly on many occasions and recently visited Tusk projects in Namibia and Tanzania. For almost thirty years, Tusk has pioneered successful conservation action in Africa by protecting wildlife, empowering communities and advancing the frontline in the fight against the illegal wildlife trade. The annual Tusk Conservation Awards celebrate the achievements of extraordinary people, whose work protecting Africa’s natural heritage might otherwise go unnoticed outside their fields.

For the event, Kate wore her favourite green floor-length Jenny Packham gown. With her brunette tresses worn in luscious waves, the royal highlighted her pretty facial features with muted tones of makeup.

Kate Middleton rewears Jenny Packham dress as she attends Tusk Awards with Prince William

She is known for recycling pieces from her wardrobe past and tonight the Duchess of Cambridge stunned in a teal blue ball gown she had first worn six years ago.

Kate, 36, looked stunning as she joined Prince William at the Tusk Conservation Awards at Banqueting House, London on Thursday night.

The mother-of-three recycled a sea green floor length lace gown by British designer Jenny Packham for the event this evening which she had initially worn back in 2012 to a gala event at the Royal Albert Hall to mark the countdown to the London Olympic Games.

Despite the fact that she has since given birth to three children the elegant ballgown still fitted like a glove as she stepped onto the red carpet today.

Since she returned from her maternity leave weve witnessed the Duchess of Cambridge take on a new and confident wardrobe. And so far it has included an Erdem dress, a gorgeous Alexander McQueen number for Princess Eugenies wedding and recycled Emilia Wickstead and Jenny Packham dresses.

And for tonights event at the Tusk Conservation Awards, Kate was proving there is still room for her now retro style as she showcased this Jenny Packham dress.

Feel like it looks familiar? Well, she first wore it back in 2012, and six years later it still makes a statement. From the teal colour and pleated design to the lace detailing and belted waist, the designer dress has established itself as a timeless one.

Although you cant buy the dress you can click (right) to shop your very own Jenny Packham masterpiece at NET-A-PORTER.COM. Alternatively, use our edit below to emulate Kates show-stopping look in a similar dress by Marks and Spencer, Jolie Moi, Monsoon and more.

And Kate stuck to what she knows when it came to her accessories too, carrying the same custom-made clutch bag she was seen with back in 2012.

Kate also opted for the same £450 Vamp sandals from Jimmy Choo that she wore when she debuted the dress.

She mixed up her look slightly by swapping the elegant chignon she had originally opted to have for tumbling curls framing her face perfectly.

Kate wore a pair of dazzling pair of chandelier diamond earrings and a further element of sparkle was added in the form of her bejeweled waistband

And she appeared to have had a small accident, spotted wearing a circular plaster on her middle finger.

Prince William, meanwhile, put on a dapper display in a tux as he joined his wife on the red carpet, both of whom wore a remembrance poppy ahead of armistice day.

The couple, who are parents to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, looked happy and relaxed sharing a joke together upon their arrival this evening.
