March 27: Six men are arrested in dawn raids as part of an investigation into an organised criminal gang in Preston. READ MORE

March 24: A stop and search operation was carried out by police at Preston railway station after reports of youths on board an incoming train were armed with “improvised weapons”. A table leg was seized from two teenage boys. READ MORE

“Finally, I would also like to hear from anyone who saw two young black men aged 19-21, possibly wearing dark coloured tracksuits, running through the railway station underpass to the front of the station where they collected two push bikes and ran to the taxi area before getting into a large white people carrier taxi.

March 22: More than 30 people are stopped and searched by police in the Callon, Fishwick and Deepdale areas of Preston after a section 60 order is authorised.

A teenager has been repeatedly stabbed in the back at approximately 4.45pm after being “targeted” by three other teenage thugs in Preston, Lancashire, police said. And a “young man” was found with a knife wound in Leamington, Warwickshire, at approximately 3pm.  

March 18: A 16-year-old boy is arrested after he allegedly threatened to kill a 16-year-old pupil at Christ the King High School in Preston.

Tim Sharpe, Detective Inspector at Warwickshire Police, said: “I am appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information who may have seen this man or may have seen what happened to him, between 3.00pm and 5.00pm to please come forward as soon as possible. 

March 16: Police seize two knives, an imitation firearm, drugs paraphernalia and mixing agents whilst carrying out ‘proactive checks’ in Preston.

“Did you see three youths with a bike in this area? Perhaps you were driving in that direction and saw them? If you have any information or potential dash cam footage we need you to get in touch.”

March 15: Four teenagers, aged 15 to 18, are arrested and knives and drugs seized by officers during stop and search patrols in the Avenham area of Preston. READ MORE

North West Air Ambulance landed at Queen Street Retail Park and the victim was transferred to the waiting helicopter by ambulance before he was flown to Blackpool Victoria Hospital.

March 10: Seven teenage boys are arrested in connection with a ‘targeted’ knife attack in Ribbleton, Preston.

Preston Police were called to B&M Bargains in Carlisle Street, near Preston Bus Station and Ringway around 4.45pm on Sunday (7 April).
