Manchester United are braced for January interest from Juventus and Chelsea in Anthony Martial, as talks over a new contract remain deadlocked, Sky Sports News understands.

Sky Sports News understands that an agreement remains very far from being reached, despite another round of discussions.

Sky Sports says the French forward is yet to agree to an extension past his current deal at Old Trafford, which expires in 2020.

United are determined on keeping Martial , but a deal between the two parties is still far from close.

This has alerted both Chelsea and Juventus as they prepare to lodge January bids for the 22-year-old.

The Blues are keen on Martial, but must offload one of their own players first before they can make a move.
