Liverpool Football Club will head to the USA as part of their 2019/20 pre-season preparations this July to play in three of the most iconic sporting venues in the states.
Jurgen Klopps men will visit Fenway Park in Boston, Yankee Stadium in New York City and Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Indiana at the University of Notre Dame.
University of Notre Dame in Indiana will host a competitive football match for the first time in the 90-year history of its historic 77,000-seat stadium when the Reds face Borussia Dortmund on Friday, July 19th (KO 8pm local time).

The team will then make their way to Boston for a welcome return to the home of the Boston Red Sox, Fenway Park, to meet Spains oldest football club Sevilla FC on Sunday 21 July (KO 6pm local time). On Wednesday 24 July, the famous Yankee Stadium baseball field will be transformed into a football pitch when Liverpool return to take on Sporting CP (KO 8pm local time).
Pre-season tour is an important time of the year for our first team to prepare for the upcoming season while also providing the opportunity to bring the first team to our fans around the world.

(Reuters) – Liverpool, who are in a battle with Manchester City for the English Premier League title, will play July friendlies at Bostons Fenway Park, New Yorks Yankee Stadium and Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Indiana, the team announced on Tuesday.

Liverpool will kick off the trio of pre-season games with a July 19 clash against Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund in what will be the first competitive football match in the 90-year history of the University of Notre Dames 77,000-seat stadium.
Jurgen Klopp will test his players against high-calibre opponents with games against his former club Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla and Sporting Lisbon now added to the calendar.
The team will then play at two of the most storied Major League Baseball stadiums, against La Liga side Sevilla on July 21 at Fenway Park followed by a July 24 match against Portugals Sporting at the home of the New York Yankees.
