The report claims that Liverpool could make a move to agree a deal in the coming weeks, although at this stage it is unclear how much Juve want for the 25-year-old.

Dybala has been linked with several sides in recent months, but now Liverpool are ready to try to get their noses in front in the race for his services. According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Liverpool are serious about signing Dybala and are pushing hard.

Dybala has scored just nine goals in 35 matches for the Old Lady this season, a drop off from his prolific season in 2017-18 in which he notched 26 times in 46 appearances in all competitions.

It is claimed that Liverpool could make a move to agree a deal in the coming weeks. It is unclear how much Juventus might demand to let Dybala go, but Liverpool would be likely to have to pay a big fee to land him.

The Argentina international, who moved to Turin from Palermo in 2015, has previously been rated in the £100million bracket – although that may have dropped given his tougher times in front of goal this campaign.

Dybala has managed nine goals in 35 matches for the Old Lady this season and has also set up six more for his team-mates. He joined Juventus from Palermo in 2015.

The Reds are expected to sign at least one new attacker this season, with doubts over the futures of both Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi.

Liverpool, meanwhile, have reportedly responded to claims that Real Madrid are planning to launch a bid to sign Sadio Mane by sticking a huge transfer fee on the Senegalese forwards head. Read the full story here…

LIVERPOOL are reportedly considering whether to put in a bid for Juventus star Paulo Dybala in the coming weeks – but fans are not so sure that it would all be good news.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is looking to add a new central attacking option to his squad this summer, and according to Italian publication Tutto Mercato, the club are pushing to bring in the Argentina international.

Dybala has not been a guaranteed starter in Turin this season and has often found himself on the substitutes bench.

He has has scored just nine goals in 35 appearances for the Old Lady this season, a large dip in output from his 26 goals in all competitions last season.

There is no doubting the 25-year-old’s abilities but he is finding life difficult at Juventus currently – and Liverpool could be ready to pounce.

Dybala, who moved to Turin from Palermo in 2015, has previously been rated in the £100million bracket – although that may have dropped given his tougher times in front of goal this campaign.

Real Madrid are understood to have a long-standing interest in signing Dybala, who has also been linked with a big-money move to Manchester United in recent months.

The Reds are expected to sign at least one new attacker this season, with doubts over the futures of both Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi.

Should Dybala arrive at Anfield, Liverpool fans could see a front four of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, and Dybala.

But actual Liverpool fans are cynical and think that if Dybala was to join then it would mean that another star could leave.

“If only that was possible. The cynic in me is thinking if it’s true who we selling??”

“Only if we end up selling another star to fund the move. Always a selling club under Fenway Sports Group,” added another.

So it seems that Liverpool fans are worried about the Dybala move because it may mean that one of their other star men could leave Anfield.

Were this not the case however, bringing in a player of his quality in the attacking third could be a shrewd deal.

LIVERPOOL are likely to fine tune their first-team squad in the summer transfer window instead of revamping their roster.

LIVERPOOL boss Jurgen Klopp has been jokingly urged to punish three of his players following their narrow victory over Fulham at the weekend.
