Newest The Walking Dead Star Confirms Comic Book Romance

Fans were happy to see that Rick Grimes survived, despite Andrew Lincolns exit from The Walking Dead.

Luckily, it seems fans of the show will get to find out, as head of content at The Walking Dead Scott Gimple has revealed plans for a trilogy of television movies.

And they will see Ricks story continued, which would mean a return to the US for Andrew Lincoln, who left to spend more time with his family in the UK.

Gimple hasnt yet revealed much of a plot, apart from mentioning the mystery surrounding Jadis and her A and B hunting helicopter pals.

He told The Hollywood Reporter: “That serves the overall story to this next story that we have for Rick. We know Rick Grimes. He would want to be home.”

Its not know how far in the future the films will be set, as the show jumped a number of years into the future after Ricks exit, or if it will carry on from Jadis (Pollyanna McIntosh) taking him away in the helicopter.

Gimple did reveal one thing for certain though, adding: “Im going to give you a spoiler here: he does survive. Well, Im going to say hes in all three movies. I hate going that far, but thats crazy not to say.”

But theyre definitely in the minds of the people at the top, with AMC programming president David Madden wanting to make it feel like a “large, big scope movie that will feel like a major motion picture.”

Theres also the chance that the trilogy could end up leading Rick back to his friends, though only time will tell how many of them are left by then.

Within the next three episodes of The Walking Dead, a new group of villains will be introduced and they could be the most deadly yet.

They are The Whisperers and, in the comics, they are responsible for killing a number of big characters like Rosita and King Ezekiel.

Viewers have seen Rosita (Christian Serratos) and Eugene (Josh McDermitt) running into their path in a trailer – but who will they take as their first victim?

Eleanor Matsuura, who joined The Walking Dead Sunday in the closing moments of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) last episode, has confirmed her Yumiko is in a romantic relationship with group leader Magna (Nadia Hilkes).

Yumiko is a fighter and a protector, but shes thoughtful and knows how to keep a level head. She is fiercely loyal to her girlfriend Magna and the rest of her group whom she considers family, the Into the Badlands and Wonder Woman star told EW of her bow-wielding survivor.
