Plot: Former CIA agent Bryan Mills and his ex-wife Lenore are taken hostage in Istanbul by an Albanian gangster, whose son Bryan killed while bringing down a kidnapping ring. He is able to escape with the aid of his daughter, and together they fight to rescue Lenore and wipe out the criminal family.

He focuses on one victim in particular, a woman whom he believes holds the key to the crime and becomes convinced that he can prevent the explosion ever happening.
