Courtney Booth: Sighting of missing teen in Edinburgh

Girl, 15, missing for a week from Doncaster is spotted on CCTV in Edinburgh

The schoolgirl had contacted her mother to say she was on her way back from Harrogate, but she didnt arrive home.

Footage of the pair was recorded at 6.45pm last Sunday as they left Edinburgh Waverley station on foot and caught the X62 service from St Andrews bus station at 7.30pm. They had previously been spotted at York railway station at around 3.50pm, boarding a train to Aberdeen.

South Yorkshire Police said this CCTV image shows the teenager with 25-year-old Tom Fallon at Edinburgh train station last Sunday, September 23.

Missing Yorkshire girl Courtney Booth, 15, last seen a week ago may be in Edinburgh with 25-year-old man

Courtney has light brown or ginger shoulder length hair, and is of a medium build. While in York she was wearing blue skinny jeans, a black thigh-length padded coat with a fur-lined hood, a grey and black jumper with a Nike emblem on the front, and black trainers.

Supt Paul McCurry, of South Yorkshire Police, said: This new information clearly leads us to believe that Courtney and Tom may still be in the Edinburgh area. Courtney has now been missing for nearly a week and we know this is entirely out of character. Please take a good look at the picture of them, have you seen them? If so, please get in touch. We need to know where she is.

Courtney Booth, 15, was reported missing just before 11pm on Saturday, September 22 after failing to return home to her family in Stainforth, Doncaster.

COPS searching for a missing 15-year-old girl believe she could be in the company of an older man in Edinburgh.

Courtney Booth has been missing for almost a week after she was last seen in the York and Harrogate areas over the weekend of September 22 and 23.

South Yorkshire Police say the teenager boarded a train to Aberdeen with 25-year-old Tom Fallon but may have got off in the Scots capital.

Detective Chief Inspector Jo Bates, leading the search for Courtney, said: Courtney is known to have been in the York and Harrogate areas over the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd September.

Courtney and the man were last seen at York train station at around 3.50pm on Sunday 23 September, boarding a train to Aberdeen. Courtney is pictured here at York train station.

There are a number of stops along the route and we are in the process of reviewing CCTV footage of each train station to establish where Courtney got off the train and where she then went.

Courtney has never been missing before and its extremely unusual for her not to contact her family. Clearly we are extremely concerned for her welfare and would ask anyone who thinks they may have seen Courtney since she was reported missing to get in touch with us straight away.

Police are increasingly concerned about the welfare of Courtney Booth. We need to know where she is. She was last thought to be in the company of Tom Fallon, possibly in the Edinburgh area. She has light brown/ginger shoulder length hair and is of a medium build. Whilst in York, Courtney was wearing blue skinny jeans, a black thigh length padded coat, with fur-lined hood, and grey and black jumper with a Nike emblem on the front in grey and white, and black trainers.

Its vital that we find Courtney so we can speak to her to ensure her welfare. Her family are understandably incredibly worried and Id ask that anyone with information calls 101 quoting incident number 1073 of 22 September 2018.

The search comes as Police Scotland try to trace missing Celtic fan Justin Conroy, 24, who was last seen in Partick, Glasgow, last Saturday.
