Police have issued an appeal after the theft of a large fuel tank worth £5,000 from a Dundee street.
A police statement said: “Thieves would have needed a large vehicle to steal the bowser and this would have likely caused a large amount of noise when moved.
“Anyone with any information should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting CR/27108/18 or speak to any police officers.
“Alternatively if you have any information about the incident you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their Anonymous Online Form at crimestoppers-uk.org.”
The theft of the bowser, used by farms and industrial sites to store large quantities of fuel, took place on Fairmuir Street at some point last weekend.
